Character - Mistoffelees

Mistoffelees eats a fish!MISTOFFELEES THE MAGICAL CAT was a character that I performed the 1990s for San Diego revival of the play "Cats." I could not sing for the part however someone offstage handled my lyrics while I handled the Magic. I shot butane flames in the air, flew a helicopter card completely around my body to land between my hands, and then produced nine kittens out of a hat as required by the lyrics. I had retired this character for several years until a very interesting group hired me for a wedding reception party.

Both the bride and groom were pierced and tattooed and assured me that the rest of the audience would be similarly arrayed– and they were! So I got into the cat suit again about a year ago and reprised the role for a small group of distinctive individuals.
